Random

Hmmmmmm............
Thats right, I knew you couldn't imagine it without a photo. It's a super-dooper mega huge freckle....
Just so you know it tasted the best :)
If I did drink real coffee, I would probably have a real coffee -
but sorry I'm only a fake coffee person!
Who ever would know what this is meant to be........
Maybe a Dog? Car? Human?
I'm very confused - someone please tell me what it is meant to be, I just found it on the kitchen table....

Life!

Well, lots has been happening in my life in the past few days (not really sure what), but I have had a few busy days. First of all I have been doing lots of cross stitching.... At first I thought it could possibly be boring and for old grandma's, but then Husband taught me how to do it and it is very relaxing! Husband knew how to cross stitch and I didn't
(I was very surprised)! I love how we teach each other different stuff everyday!
The game of all games these days "Settlers of Catan".....
Once we finished tea tonight at about 8pm, I decided that I would get super-dooper prepared for tomorrow nights tea and now I have made the meat sauce to go into the big trays of lasagna that will get made in the morning.
(Please note that the saucepan I am using belongs to my mother-in-law)!

Work in progress 2.

It feels so good to say that finally today we started to do the paves out the back area of our house, and of course as husband would say "it takes time", so we haven't finished yet but what we have done looks amazing!
This would have been the best part of today!
And last of all, this was a very cute frog we just found roaming at our back door, lucky he didn't get squashed by the bobcat. Mini me thought it was good while husband was holding it, then we went and sat it next to her for her to have a look at and every time she went to touch it, it jumped away (there were lots of tears).

Around the house

A few months ago we decided to paint our bedroom and Mini me's bedroom. This is Mini me's bedroom walls, the dark purple been a feature wall and the light wall is the same on the other 2 walls in our room's. To start with on the paint sample card, I really didn't think I would like it because I am a total pink girl (but husband wouldn't let me paint our rooms pink) so i trusted him that the purple would look OK, and as always it looks fantastic!

My favorite job, I love been a house wife & mother!
A few weeks ago my father-in-law came to our house and had a coffee and sat down and noticed that we didn't have a coffee table which made me think that we probably actually do need a coffee table, so I went to a few op-shops and the last op-shop I was going to stop at I was praying they would have a coffee table, and that they did, they had this great bargain out the front marked down from $4 to $2, it was great. Mini me thinks its the bomb, she sits on it to watch TV, she can push it around the house, she just thinks its great (I'm not sure that its going to last long thou.)

Work in progress

So about 2 weeks ago my husband decided that he would rip up all the stones and bricked area at the back of our house and re-pave it.
It was such a great thought at the time, but then after he did it we realised that for about the next 3 weekends we didn't actually have time to fix it up and re-pave it.
So now this is what I'm looking at around out house.

Ahh, and hopefully soon I will be able to post a photo of it totally finished!!!!!!

Around the Farm!

Today we went out and about on our property. It was great. There is currently 14 sheep, about 8 ducks, there use to be about 20 chooks but the other night a fox came and took them (bit sad) so now there is only 3 chooks & 1 rooster, a mini horse (his name is Rocky), 3 Guinea Fowl, 2 Indian ring neck parakeets, 3 dogs & 3 cats.... Please understand these aren't all our animals, some of them belong to the next door neighbors but it is very interesting to go out and around looking at all the animals with husband & mini me.

Spring!

Ah, I am loving this spring weather!
I love just walking around outside and it not been freezing or far too hot.

This is my little herb garden I started a few weeks ago, (I hope it works, I got all off cuts of herbs from my next door neighbors).
And my other favourite tree in our yard at the moment is our orange tree, been getting great oranges from it.
