5 days later......

It's been a huge week in our house.

Currently I am sitting in a room with blue walls and lots of strange pictures painted on the wall. Thats right it's children's ward at the hospital (would be nice if my house looked like this though). Things are getting better here, but it is always a very emotional journey having to have your child in hospital. We have been praying for full health and 5 days later we are nearly back at full health. Just waiting on some tests to come back to see if they can work out what is wrong but hopefully in the we can go home soon.

What a weekend!

We have had a very eventful weekend at our house.

Gastro, new babies, work, house work, washing the car, rain, sunshine, friends, family, and 

ALOT OF WASHING.......

On Saturday Mini me and I went down and washed the car, inside and out because some crazy guy keeps on telling me he loves our car and just wants to buy it - so I told him a price and said he could take it,  (was a bit crazy but if he really wants to buy it for the right price he can have it).

Then we had Grandma (mother-in-law) pop in for a visit which was nice, followed by some friends coming over for a BBQ tea and fire. Was a very relaxing kind of Saturday. 

But then we woke up Sunday morning to Mini Me vomiting. Really not what we wanted, but sometimes just gotta deal with it. Of course it was pouring rain all Sunday aswell and we used ALOT of towels and clothes as you do. Its Monday and my washing machine and dryer have been going non-stop all weekend, I'm sure they are nearly ready for a break but still a few loads to go, thankfully Husband brought me a brand new washing machine and dryer 2 weeks ago was perfect timing really!

It was nice to wake up to some good news on Sunday morning thou, which was that one of our sheep just gave birth to twins - they are very cute, will get a photo of them when it is nice weather again.

Day at the Zoo!

Since Husband has an extra long weekend this weekend we decided to go to the Zoo. It was fantastic weather but it was so totally packed. Thousands of people everywhere!

We were having a great day and then Mini Me wanted to be carried and I wasn't doing anything so I was carrying her around(6 months pregnant) and didn't notice a few stairs and totally tripped up and landed flat on my face with Mini Me in my arms. It was very embarrassing, but also very painful for both of us. (I got up as quick as I could and started walking because there was so many people watching us). We are home now, bit sore but all fine. 

 

Family Picnic's!

On Saturday we went on a little family outing (which I think will become a weekly thing because it was so nice). I packed all our lunch and ALOT of snacks and we set of on our way.  

We were going to go to an all abilities playground about 20 minutes away from our house but when we got there it was packed with a birthday party so we drove around the corner and had lunch at a lake. 

Once we ate lunch we decided to crash the party that was going on at the playground so that Mini Me could have a play (since that's what we promised her).

 Husband loved going out and having 'perfect' weather because he just got a new camera so he wanted to try it out!

Mini me doing one of her favourite things, she loves been outside talking to the 'duck ducks'. So today we went outside for a while so she could talk to the 'duck ducks', and just because it was nice weather for a change!

Doona Covers!

I feel like I am a little bit addicted to doona covers at the moment. I hope this is a good thing. I feel like every time I change our bedding that the doona's need to be changed aswell just so that we use them all. 

This is one of my favourites that fit on our bed at the moment.

This is what 'Mini Me' got for her birthday - If they made this for my size bed this so would be my doona instead.

And again I did see another dirty mouse in my house - it was tragic. I was half way through cooking our tea as well - so I left everything on the stove and grabbed Mini Me jumped in the car and drove to Husband at work and brought more mouse traps and mouse bait(to put in the roof). I think he has only caught 1 more but I think there is about 3 traps set up... I actually don't feel like I really should be turning 22 next week because I am so scared of mice, I'm feeling I should be about 5 or something!

On other news in our house - my big baby girl just turned 2, and I think she officially has a 'favourite' present from her birthday.

Hmm, so Jess called me the other day and told me she had just brought 2 brand new digital photo frames that you plug your USB into the back and it does a slide show of all your photos, so Justin said he wanted to buy one off her. When she dropped it around and I plugged it in I felt like it really belonged to us because there was already photos of family members on there! (Jokes)
